
Bhatia’s comments came in an investor call after the airline reported its first-ever quarterly loss since the airline went public three years ago, of Rs 652 crore this Q2. IndiGo was the first to show formal interest in acquiring Air India’s international operations when the government unsuccessfully tried to sell off the Maharaja earlier this year. Eventually, IndiGo did not bid for AI.
